La Quinta by Wyndham Port Orange / Daytona

It is a budget hotel, but the room was large and clean; the aircon worked, the bed was comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was basic but good. We arrived late and tired, but were able to buy food from the hotel store and heat it in the microwave; perfect.

Love that as soon as you walk in, you can smell the cleanliness of the hotel, and the location was good.

Upon entering the lobby, exiting the elevator and entering our room - it smelled incredibly clean! Not a perfumed smell trying to cover up odor, but a true clean smell! It was wonderful! This is a pet friendly hotel. No limit on the pet size, which we often find to be a problem. Two dogs allowed. We have a well behaved 75 lb German Shepherd that often cannot travel with us as a lot of places will not allow large dogs or dogs of her breed. It was great the our dogs were welcome and that the hotel had NO dog odors!! The beds were super comfortable!! The bathroom was a nice size and also very clean. The AC worked great. The fridge kept items nicely chilled and the tiny freezer even kept my ice pack frozen. Towels were thick and also smelled very clean. Breakfast was what you would expect for a hotel quick prepared breakfast. The first morning there was scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. Those items were just so-so, but hot. Waffle making area, which was always good. Instant oatmeal, grits, butter, jams, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, etc. Juice, milk, coffee, tea. The 2nd morning they had scrambled eggs, homefries and bacon. As well as the other items previoisly mentioned. Coffee and hot water for tea is always available. The pool is indoors and was a bit too cool (June) and the hot tub was too cool to enjoy. But, we stayed at this hotel for a beach getaway and not for the pool. The hotel is approximately 30 min from Ponce Inlet. We will definitely be back!!!

Check in was effortless, room was clean…breakfast was a plus.coffee maker, microwave and frig in the room were a plus

I loved that the service staff were very friendly and very accomidating to our needs. The free morning breakfast is definitely a bonus. And the rooms were very clean and very comfortable.
